Houston has a lot of film shooters, and this is their place of choice. A fridge full of 35mm, 120 and Polaroid emulsions, and one of the few stores in the country that has processed 35mm and 120 in-house — and printed it — without a break since 1996.

About the store
30+ years behind the camera.
Humble Camera Center opened in October 1995 on Main Street, when Humble was still a small town by the San Jacinto River. Like most Ma n’ Pa stores, the shelves are stacked to the ceiling — lighting, stands, tripods, cases, vintage cameras and a fridge full of film.
1995
Established. A small-town camera repair shop opens in historic downtown Humble.
1996
Film era. First film processors installed, then in-house printing. Custom framing follows a year later.
Digital era
Adapting. Film scanning, video transfers, used digital and vintage gear, and a Canon, Nikon and Sony rental department.
Today
Full service. New and used gear, rentals, repairs, film and professional photography services, with a large and loyal customer base.
